MaskOff Banter is a social fluency practice app built for neurodivergent adults. It is operated by RoleSpar LLC (“RoleSpar,” “we,” “us”) at maskoffbanter.com.

MaskOff is not a therapy service, a mental health treatment, a crisis service, or a substitute for professional support of any kind. The scenarios, reflections, and AI-generated content on this platform are tools for social practice — not clinical assessment or treatment.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.

By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet the age requirement above.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us at support@maskoffbanter.com.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the platform, or engage in behavior that puts other users at risk.

MaskOff uses AI to generate practice scenarios, debrief feedback, and reflective content. This content is generated automatically based on your inputs. It is not reviewed by a human before it reaches you.

AI-generated content can be imperfect, incomplete, or wrong. It is not professional advice of any kind — not legal, medical, psychological, or therapeutic.

If you are in crisis, experiencing a mental health emergency, or in an unsafe situation, please contact emergency services or a crisis line. MaskOff is not equipped to help in those situations.

MaskOff includes a feature called Mediate that allows users to submit their account of a miscommunication and optionally invite another person to do the same.

• —Neither person sees the other's raw submission. If two people participate in the same session, each person receives only an AI-generated synthesis — not the other person's words.
• —Inviting someone is optional. You can use Mediate entirely on your own. If you invite someone and they do not respond within 72 hours, the session routes to a solo reflection with no notification to either party.
• —The AI output is not a verdict. Mediate does not determine who was right or wrong. It is designed to identify where interpretations may have diverged and what each person might consider before continuing the conversation.
• —Mediate is not appropriate for situations involving violence, threats, or safety concerns. Do not use Mediate to process situations where someone's safety is at risk.

When you submit text to MaskOff — in scenarios, journals, Mediate sessions, or anywhere else — you retain ownership of that content.

By submitting content, you grant RoleSpar a limited license to use that content to operate the platform, generate AI responses, and improve the service. We do not sell your content to third parties.

You are responsible for what you submit. Do not submit content that is false, harmful, threatening, or intended to harm another person.

How we collect, store, and use your information is described in our Privacy Policy at maskoffbanter.com/privacy. By using MaskOff, you agree to those practices.

Mediate session content — both individual submissions and AI-generated outputs — is stored securely and is not visible to the other participant in raw form. We do not use Mediate submissions for marketing purposes.

MaskOff is currently free during its beta period. When paid plans become available, we will notify users in advance with clear information about pricing and what changes.

When billing activates, subscriptions will renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Refund eligibility will be described in the billing terms published at that time.

To the extent permitted by law, RoleSpar is not liable for:

• —Outcomes resulting from decisions you make based on AI-generated content
• —Disputes or harm arising between users who interact through the Mediate feature
• —Interruptions, errors, or data loss resulting from technical issues
• —Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of MaskOff

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If changes are significant, we will notify you by email or in-app notice. Continuing to use MaskOff after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of MaskOff will be resolved in the courts of Wisconsin.
